Mir Fatimah Kanth

Mir Fatimah Kanth is a Phd Student in the Anthropology program at UCSD. She received her MSc in International Politics from the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS), University of London, as a commonwealth scholar in 2016 and a B.A. (honors) in Political Science from the University of Delhi in 2014. She is interested in exploring the themes of humanitarian development, everyday life, militarization and gendered subjectivities in South Asia, particularly in Kashmir.
